U.UPDATE_IMAGE

Summary

Updates specified image with specified settings

Syntax

=U.UPDATE_IMAGE(name_or_range, settings, [filter], [block])

Parameters

Parameter Required Description
name_or_range Yes A reference to the range containing the image to update or the name of the registered image to update
settings Yes The 2-column list of setting names and values to be applied. See table at bottom of this worksheet for currently supported settings. Alternatively, settings can be provided as a comma-delimited list of settings as =
[filter] No Substrings of the image text and/or alternative text that can be used to identify the specific image to update in cases where a specified range contains multiple images
[block] No If set to TRUE then method will not be calculated unless triggered by user interaction or calculated as a step in a script; If set to a number then will be throttled to not calculate more frequently than the specified number of seconds; make number negative to prevent auto recalc of blocked methods

Return Value

Returns the function result or action status described by the formula and parameters above. The maintained sources do not define a narrower, stable return contract for this function.
