Summary

Keeps values in specified ranges synchronized

Syntax

=U.SYNC_CELLS(range, range, [range], [range])

Parameters

Parameter Required Description
range Yes Range (or ranges) to be synchronized with other specified ranges
range Yes Range (or ranges) to be synchronized with other specified ranges
[range] No Range (or ranges) to be synchronized with other specified ranges. Hard-code TRUE as value in formula if any range is an Excel table to prevent it from being converted to a normal Excel range. Setting the value to 2 will preserve Excel tables, but will paste values as a block which could cause Excel to paste values incorrectly if filters are applied to the table.
[range] No Range (or ranges) to be synchronized with other specified ranges Hard-code TRUE as value in formula to disable handling of Web controls

Behavior

The documented public interface is supported by the current U Add-in source signature and the maintained Usage Examples workbook. Optional parameters are shown in square brackets in the syntax above; omit the brackets when entering a formula.

Return Value

Returns the function result or action status described by the formula and parameters above. The maintained sources do not define a narrower, stable return contract for this function.
